The Godavari is India’s second longest river. It originates in the western state of Maharashtra and flows east into the Bay of Bengal. Along its way it crosses through Telangana, the state this fabric was produced in. The river lends its name to a train, the Godavari Express, which runs between Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh and Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana.
