Double Lines

A simple linear pattern combining German indigo and alizarin. The lines were printed on as a mordant and resist after which the material was vat-dyed in indigo. It was then washed to remove the resist and finished off in a vat of alizarin dye.

Material: 100% cotton

Dyes: indigo blue & alizarin red

Weight: approx 90g/m, 80g/m²

Washing Instructions: Machine wash separately and cold with a very mild detergent. Air dry away from direct sunlight. Treat it well.

Important: This is hand woodblock-printed cotton. There will be irregularities in the print. If you are unsure, please contact us before purchasing.

Multiples of half metres will be cut as one continuous length.
