Tangaliya

KJC11

This particular design and technique is originally from the Surendranagar district of Gujarat and goes by the name of Tangaliya or Daana. The little dots are added during the weaving process in the form of extra weft. The weaver twists the extra thread around the warp to create a design of 'pearls' on the finished cloth.
