Autumn Leaves

Indigo doesn't require a mordant whereas alizarin does, so as a first step the fabric was mordant and then resist-printed. Once dried it was vat-dyed in indigo, washed and then boiled in a vat of alizarin dye.

Weight: approx 90g/m, 80g/m²

Washing Instructions: Machine wash separately and cold with a very mild detergent. Air dry away from direct sunlight. Treat it well.

Important: This is hand woodblock-printed cotton. There will be irregularities in the print. If you are unsure, please contact us before purchasing.

Multiples of half metres will be cut as one continuous length.
